A friend loaned me a novel by these two, and now I'm hooked. The first one I read was "Still Life with Crows"; it's eerie, the characters are interesting, and I couldn't put it down. And one of the characters is goth.
I'm currently re-reading "Brimstone"; I can honestly say that I haven't read a bad one in the bunch. "Relic" is the novel that put them on the map; it was made into a movie.
They're not "gothic" per se, but I definitely recommend any novel by these guys.

has your love passed away? and do you think of me at night in stormy weather?
