Got it today.An ambitious and impressive project. It's nice to know
that a good movie can still be made without sending the audience on a CGI acid trip. The low-tech effects gave it a surreal quality that would do Tim Burton proud. Hollywood take note. www.cthulhulives.org |

I purchace it and it definitively well worth every penny!
 I think we need more of this kind of movie  And doing it in black and white with no sound add tremously to the atmosphere. It's one of the major thing I find important in the H.P. Lovecraft world.

This sure slipped by me! I would love to see it. Is there anywhere to go where I can see screen shots? Does Cthulhu himself look good?
Funny, I was wondering when someone was going to make a Call of Cthulhu film.... |

I know it was on the program of the last fantasia over here. For Cthullu himself, he is well done considering the limited ressources of the production. He also have a little featurette on the dvd.
But I particuliarly like the part when the boat crew are on Cthullu island. I find it very well rendered. I find it is one of the high point of the movie. |

I must agree with you Derek. And they where particularly respectul of the story and to the atmophere (which can be hard in the case of Lovecraft's stories).
