Thank your for the opportunity to share my delight in the gorgeous Gothic Tarot. I am a collector of tarot decks, and this is one of my favorites. Vargo's art is exquisite and appropriate to the suits and symbolism. I don't "read" tarot, but I revel in the images and the psychological perspectives. Had I not stumbled upon Monolith Graphics via a link somewhere, I would have never discovered this lovely, amazing addition to my ever growing assortment of tarot decks.

I, too, was enthralled by the beautiful, detailed artwork. I fell in love with Joseph Vargo's artwork after seing pictures of one of the calenders online a couple years ago, and since then I've tried to buy everything from him that I can.
I'm a newbie at tarot cards, and I only had one deck prior to buying this one, but it was just a beginner's deck so the images were dull and simple. I don't know why it was called a "beginner's" deck because after buying Joseph Vargo's tarot cards I realize that my original deck was actually much harder to work with. The Gothic Tarot has much more symbolism, and I can really feel the meanings of the cards as opposed to just running through carefully memorized descriptions in my head. I plan to buy other decks eventually (I'd like to start a collection, like VictoriaGrimalkin, and I already have some picked out), but I'm sure this will always be my favorite. |

I saw the Gothic Tarot, as well as Madame Eudora's Fortune Cards, on a tarot website with reviews. The website has closed down since then. I was looking for informations about the Lord of the Rings Oracle and there was a review there about it. I, of course, ended up reading all the reviews. Let's just say I almost dropped out of my chair when I saw the Gothic Tarot. What a magnificent deck! This is the most beautiful and most profond dark-gothic deck I've seen. There is as well that the Gothic Tarot is more than a vampire deck. I'm saying that because usually when you see gothic stuff, it's always about vampires and I find this greatly limitating, especially that I'm more attracted towards wolves, werewolves and gargoyles. In the Gothic Tarot, there are wolves as well as werewolves, ghosts, gargoyles, castles, ruins, forests, angels, humans, etc. The Gothic Tarot is a world in itself, there is no limit, it makes me feel like I'm a part of it. It is also greatly Romantic, I see many elements of the Romantic period in it. It is now one of my favorite decks and I usually use it for deep personal questions. I would love to use it more often unto others but too many cringe just seeing the black color of the deck. They don't know what they're missing...

Like many here, I first saw The Gothic Tarot on a tarot site. Love at first bite! When I received my deck and started going through each cards, the connection was instant. Each cards is like and "old friend" to me. There are no other deck in my collection with which I have such a powerful bond. The Gothic tarot "speaks" to me in a way I cannot truly describe... Simply put, it's as if Vargo saw right though me; an illustrated manifestation of my dark inner fantasy world made tangible in a wonderful tarot deck.

I was first drawn to the Gothic Tarot by an ad in Dark Realms magazine. I have been interested in the occult for some time now and have become somewhat of a collector of tarot decks. I am also a big fan of Joseph Vargo's artwork. I only saw a couple of the cards and knew I had to obtain the Gothic Tarot. It is now the prize piece in my collection.

I was searching through ebay, looking for vampire items. This Tarot deck called out to me! I've experimented with other Tarot decks, but none really "clicked"--until I got the Vargo deck. Once I got the deck, and looked at the wonderful artwork, I had to have more Vargo items! I won't even tell you how much I've ordered....

Definately the artwork. But I really haven't worked with this deck much at all. I need to so I can get a better feel for it. It always takes me awhile to get into a new deck, but I've had these for months and have barely used them.

I agree, definitely the superb artwork...I have yet to
purchase the deck but I guarantee it will be one of my three fav decks... My personal use deck is The Goddess Deck The one I use most for sharing readings with others is The Lover Tarot Deck which uses only the Major Arcana different from a 78 card deck. Much more precise and to the point. So this deck will be a most welcomed addition. |

I seen the deck online and was like WOW, I was looking for a new deck as my old deck had been accidently ruined, they spoke to me right there online, the love of my life ordered and sent me this tarot deck, when the package arrived today , i felt a connection to the cards before i even had the packing box opened, i ripped the box open to get to the cards, i had to touch each and every card, i had goose bumps running up and down my whole body, I knew this was the deck for me and the only deck of tarots i will ever need they are truly a wonderful awsome deck, and Vargo's art work leaves you total awe

It seems so long ago! I don't exactly remember where I stumble on it. I think it was a website, somewhere. But I remember falling in love with the imagery when I first had it into my hand.

I was looking for a new tarot deck after feeling stuck with my Thoth, so I googled a little and came across it. I already had Madame Endora's cards, and I just fell in love with the gothic. I had never seen anything like it. So I knew I had to have it, so I got it.

The first time i came across this deck was on a tarot site. And to be frank, i was taken aback by this deck. It was beautiful and had a lovely mystical look to it which attracted me towards it yet it got me a little scared and nervous. But i instantly knew that i had to own this deck, no matter what. Since i live in India, it is very difficult to find decks. I had given up the hope of finding this deck here.
Then suddenly i got into a lovely trade and one kind woman offered to buy me this deck and send it all the way here. I was thrilled and very excited and couldnt believe that i was finally getting this deck. And here i am doing wonderful readings with this gorgeous deck of cards which really excite me and so scare me at times with its bustling energy. |

Like most folk here, I was looking on a tarot forum cards list a couple of years ago and when I saw it I immediately knew I had to have it.
To say I was bowled over by its beauty is an understatement. I've never actually read with it yet, it's been in its home in my bookcase and taken out occasionally to savour. This may all change when I receive the Compendium book. fyrefrost |

Well, I discovered Vargo's artwork when I came across Dark Realms magazine at a Hot Topics store. Soon after, I visited monolithgraphics.com, where I
discovered the gothic tarot. I am very interested in the Tarot, although I wish I had more of a talent for reading it. My dad bought me the Gothic Tarot and
"Born of the Night," the book of Vargo's art, for Christmas. I love the Gothic Tarot deck as well as my goddess and love decks. I also love
Doreen Virtue's angel oracle cards.
