Mercenary30, I would like a reading if the offer is still open. I have never had a reading before, of any kind, and I'm curious what the cards have to say.
Thank you. |

Lygolas and LegendGirl.
I offer my humblest apologies for not getting to your readings in a more timely manner. I seem to gotten caught up in unlife, and have not taken time to address your requests. I will be doing so in the next few days. Lygolas, is your original question still valid, or should I focus on a different topic? ...all life is only a set of pictures in the brain, among which there is no difference betwixt those born of real things and those born of inward dreamings, and (there is) no cause to value one above the other."

It is indeed extremely valid my friend.
When you have time, do not rush if you have not the time. Thank you. Is all that we see or seem but a dream within a dream?

Gothic Mooncycle reading for Lygolas | #24 | ||
|
As I am now doing this reading while you have recently completed the move that you were looking for input on, I will change my planned reading format, back to the original format for this thread.
This is a simple spread with only one position that requires two cards. In this case it is one Gothic by Vargo, and one Madame Endoras Fortune Cards. The purpose is to let the cards tell you what they want you to know about your future, the time equivalent of the next moon cycle. Lygolas - Seven of Pentacles and The Raven Back under the boughs of the family tree is comforting but smothering as well. For one as independent as thee, you will quickly discover this to be dreadfully distasteful, and will exact far more energy than thou planned to expend. ...all life is only a set of pictures in the brain, among which there is no difference betwixt those born of real things and those born of inward dreamings, and (there is) no cause to value one above the other."

Legend Girl - King of Wands and The Stars Behold the leader of men. He (or she) has traveled extensively and has accumulated vast amounts of wisdom. This person will be crossing your path. Take care not miss the opportunities they will offer you. ...all life is only a set of pictures in the brain, among which there is no difference betwixt those born of real things and those born of inward dreamings, and (there is) no cause to value one above the other."

We would be very interested to learn of our fate over the next moon cycle.
May we request the benefit of your experience and insight, Mercenary30? Nothing like a nice fire... |

You are scary Merc. Very VERY scary.
Keep in mind the move has been made. I have been here for almost 60 days now and I have settled in very nicely. Surrounded by family for the first time in too many years, it is soothing to have loved ones this close. Yet. . . . Quote: The last part regarding energy is so completely accurate. I do not mind as the benefits far out weigh the cost. The frustration does not come from smothering, but the inability to effectively use the independence. That may be more my fault though since I do not want to come charging in and disturbing my loved ones lives. I find myself more a cheerleader, biting my tongue in support of things I find "dreadfully distasteful". I want to get a better feel for what goes on around me here, both socially and economically before I start trying to do more than just "be there for support". I didn't come here to change things, but to enjoy these people that my heart has cried out for too long. But that frustration you found is very sharp, very strong and I find myself fighting myself so as to not become a disruptive force in an already turbulant situation. Extremely well read, my friend. Further, I wholeheartedly agree with your melding The Gothic's and Endora's. I could not believe how much they complimented each other when I used them together, the Endora's fine-tuning, bringing the Gothic read into much better focus. WELL DONE INDEED. Thank you doesn't seem to be enough for this reading. I am in your service. "Remove the glamour that has shielded you from seeing the truth and then you will begin to breathe deeply once again." - A. Nero - King of Swords and The Sphinx Thou art to be challenged during the next cycle of the moon, Nero. Be wary of unthoughtful responses as the impulsive act or comment can lead to ruin. The stakes will be lofty and the foe will be as formidable as thou has ever faced. Facts and truth will be thine savior. ...all life is only a set of pictures in the brain, among which there is no difference betwixt those born of real things and those born of inward dreamings, and (there is) no cause to value one above the other."

TakodaVega - Temperance and The Satyr The cards find thee in the swirl of a maelstrom. A squall of overindulgence, anarchy, and wickedness; all by thine own choosing. Be wary not let the spiral take thee to the depths of the funnel for there is where all things becomes shredded on the coral and dashed upon the rocks. ...all life is only a set of pictures in the brain, among which there is no difference betwixt those born of real things and those born of inward dreamings, and (there is) no cause to value one above the other."

We must admit to not being best pleased with our fate over the next few moons. Perhaps we should stay indoors with our music and let the world pass us by.
But thank you very much, Merc, for the kind reading. We appreciate your effort as well as your insight. Perhaps one day we may return the favour. Nothing like a nice fire... |

If you ever return to make readings again, I must ask you to entice the cards for an answer for my curiosity...My lover and I have been separated and I am curious to know if our promises will hold true in the end of this journey....
Thank you for your time. My thanks. |
