Well, Ziggurat-con is a new gaming convention, but probably not one that anyone here can attend. It is organized by a group of U.S. Army troops who are stationed overseas in Iraq as part of their effort to boost morale. This is the first-ever game convention of its kind to be held in a war zone. The games opened on June 9, 2007 at Camp Adder, Tallil Airbase in Iraq. Nox Arcana was happy to contribute several cases of cds to the troops attending the Ziggurat Games. And by all accounts is was a great time for all involved.

WOW!!! I love Nox Arcana. I use a few of the CD's at home myself to help put people in the mood of their character. It really helps. I haven't heard a CD by Nox Arcana that I didn't like. Thank you so much. This is so special for us.

Ziggurat Con Chair
We'll be posting a few photos that David has sent us just as soon as we can. There's over 100 to go through, and he promises more in about a week (not to mention everyone there is actually busy with the 'real' war), but you can see a pic of the group organizers here in this article on gamegrene.com
Congratulations to David and all the great people who organized, attended and/or contributed to Ziggurat-con. According to Dave, they had tons of board games, dice, rule books, game pieces, and computer games supplied from companies and even individuals from all over the U.S. So, even though we were a small part of a larger effort, it was really cool to be able to pitch in.
We hope you all stay safe and can hold the next round of games at home.
