In all honesty it is impossible to choose just one of his lovely paintings as a favorite, I seem to love them all equally. The two that stand out the most to me and touch my very soul in a way no other artist has are "Eclipse", and "Born of the Night".
I have seen a few different opinions thus far on Eclipse, so I thought perhaps I would add my own take. To me, when I look at this painting I feel a sence of comfort and safety. It almost looks as though he is cradleing her and protecting her from harm. As though she is the most cherished creature in all creation to him. But then again that's just the opinion of a hopeless romantic :) .
"Born of the Night" to me just encompases all vision of beauty, mysticism, and the sweetest dreams. I am not sure how else to explain what I see when I look at it. The painting's beauty is unmatched, so dark and decident, yet oddly innocent and pure. All I can say is I am in love! Keep up the dark, devious, captivating beauty! <3
