As the light fades
As the light fades
I glimpse the struggles of the damned shades
A realm without good nor light
Only demons not an angel in sight.
Lakes of fire and mountains of coal
Terrible demons and woeful souls
These are the terrors that await me as the light fades
I am ushered from the gates at the point of blood soaked blades.
The sun strikes me no more
Only darkness cold and soar
All the love has gone from this place
There are only torments in the dark one’s embrace.
In the dark the damned ones are writhing
In the dark the despair is rising
No more, the light has gone
The last of life’s unheard song
Now we are left in the darkness
Eternally suffering in the abyss
I lie in this uninviting land
Among the lost and the damned
And in paradise a woeful tune does emanate
For those who did religion discriminate
Landing on the ears of the evil in sleeping
The light is fading, Angels are weeping
