Halloween has come and gone.
*sigh*
It seems that once October 1st arrived, time just flew to the 31st.
I had my giant Halloween party Friday night, the 30th. Was a SMASH!!! Everyone showed up in costume and we had loud music and games and dinner and dessert and wine and ........... oh my!
A few of the appetizers I made were:
Witches Eyeballs
Freshly Flayed Flesh
Neighborhood Stray Pet Carcass
Severed Backbones
The Headless Horseman's Pumpkin Head Bread
Crusty Intestine Tart
Blood Spattered Pizza
Crispy Critters' Toenails
Halloween Saturday was WINDY as all get out. I had to wire down a lot of my outside decorations lest they fly down the street. And cool, too. Around 40 degrees. I must've heard 300 times "aren't you cold" in my costume. YES!!!!!
Quite a few people inquired about my choice of music! I passed along the name NOX ARCANA to all the souls who were within earshot! I was told they could hear the music at the end of my block (5 houses away). COOL!!!!
I have no idea how to post pictures here, but I'll work on figuring it out.
