This past weekend, my parents, my best friend and I all went to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, one of our favorite vacation spots. (Highly reccommended) We stayed
at the Crescent, but even though it's considered America's most haunted hotel, that's not where I had my moment...
We went on a ghost tour of the Basin Park Hotel, another old hotel in town, and were sitting in the Ozark Room, which used to be the restaurant. We were hearing the story of a restaurant manager and the ghost of Mr. William Duncan, who appeared at Sunday Brunch from time to time and left her flowers on her desk. He was apparently fond of redheads, as they reminded him of his wife.
As I'm sitting in the room, I feel the light touch of a hand running through my hair. A moment later, I feel it again, more noticable. Needless to say, I spent the whole rest of the night giggling!
We also got a picture in one of the Basin's hallways of what we think is an Edwardian woman's outline in an apparition. Also, I didn't see this, but my best friend claimed she saw someone peek out at her from around a corner in our room!
