Here is my deliema; I took a Young Adult Lit. class this semester. To my surprise Twilight was on the reading list. I have spent weeks trying to figure out why my favorite professer would chose this book. I am hopeing that young adult lit. has a its own formula and is just something that I havent gotten a chance to explore. If not- could someone tell me how this book has any literary merrit. I have searched for figurative language, symbols, irony, and many more lit. devices and havent come up with anything at a college level. So if anyone had any ideas please tell me. If not I will seriously suggest reading Tales from the Dark Tower; she is a Chauser fan and this is a fantastic example of framing fiction...and in my opinion well written, unlike this Twilight nonsence.
