Darkness is my high
For in the darkness do I
Rely upon my peace
For darkness is my goal
For darkness I extol
Darkness on the whole
Consoles my state of mind
Darkness became my creed
With darkness I agreed
For the darkness does indeed
Bleed from the wounds of my heart
Into the darkness I was chased
Such darkness I had faced
For in the darkness I was laid to waste
Replaced by those who should have loved me
I never really considered myself to be much of a
poet but I've been able to knock out a few that I'm happy with.
