Fair greetings unto wolfheart. Verily wondrous be the new pieces. My waiting has become even more eager for the new Grimm Tales CD. Awe, beauty, wonder,
tension and power. It's all in the four MySpace page pieces. The complete CD will be a gem, I just feel it.

 Stupid computer problems (I am sure it is the operator - I am still born of the wrong era)
Anyway, Not only did it take me a while to be able to post here, but it also took some mental agony, patience and computer wizardry to get the songs to play. (It is true: each person excels in some parts of their lives, while in others they SUCK! I SUCK at technology    )

Honestly, I prefer Labyrinth of Dreams. It has something of a juvenile magic, like Music Box of Darklore Manor. It reminds me of movies such as Pan's
Labyrinth.
I hereby declare that if I ever have a child, I shall put Nox Arcana to play to lay her/him to sleep.

The four songs (for Bela) were:
Shadow Forest (I LOVE the harp in this) Labyrynth of Dreams (GREAT piece I love the soft bells and almost childlike choir, but my favorite part is the haunting and almost sad string passages in the middle that serve as the 'bridge' for me. They have an enchanting quality.) Black Spires (A blood-pumper. Enough said. Strings, drums and chorus. Who can ask for greater power. I love the urgency of the strings in this piece. ) Darkly Everafter (a favorite of mine) I must concur that my personal favorite track from the page is Darkly Everafter, but that does not mean I "like" the others less. They are exellent, all of them. It's purely a matter of personal taste. *Grins as Bela awards Nox Arcana the Grammy. Stands up and cheers.* *Makes a royal decree as a Knight of Jersey* I do think Grimm Tales will be the best Nox Arcana CD yet, and that's what amazes me about this duo. They are able to retain a signature sound and style, but they are able to effortlessly morph and weave it to convey all different kinds of moods and musical styles so that each song on every CD is a unique and pleasurable auditory experience. Maybe we should all say that our favorite Nox Arcana CD is the most current one or the one to come, as they only get better and better with each new release. Nine cds in four years! WOW! Vive Les Grimm Tales! Vive Nox Arcana, semper fortius!
*Touched by the idea of Wolfheart using Nox Arcana music to soothe her baby if she has one.* Aww, that's cute! But it would work just splendidly, I venture to guess.

Okay, I'm back...while all four songs have their appeal, it seems that I gravitate more so to "Labyrynth of Dreams" and "Darkly
Everafter".I can't just pick one favorite, it would be torture for me. LOL These two tracks(for me) are my favorites from the lot.Again, I would
have to agree with John that the glorious deviant duo smoothly manage to retain their signature sound (while at the same time, create totally new pieces that
are different from one another) and take us on fantastic new journeys with each consecutive release...now I'm curious and wondering what they have in store
for all of us with their next CD? Maybe I'm jumping the gun and Grimm Tales isn't even released yet...but even still,I'm just curious if the
thought had ever crossed their minds to create another Dark-Holiday album like, "Winters Knight"? Especially since it has done so well and has been
in the spotlight more so than any other of their releases. Perhaps they don't want to retread on a THEME that they have already done? But if done right,
I'm confident that they could pull it off and do a follow up/continuation story to "Winters Knight". Or maybe it's best to just leave that
album as a stand alone release.In any case,maybe they will create and release another totally new Holiday THEMED album, like for Samhain(Halloween)?(Hint,Hint)
