Greetings NA fans!!
First .... When I put the disc in my computer, it comes up "Unknown Album" with no picture and no titles for the tracks. This happen to anyone else?
I know I'm computer illiterate ... maybe it's something I'm doing wrong.
Love the cover: The moon nicely accentuates the castle's towers (or main keeps). On the fourth page is another drawing of our beautiful moon behind the
same castle. On the 10th page, there's that creepy arachnid from the myspace/GT page! I can't figure out what type he is, tho. Maybe just a friend of
Sir Joseph's 
The picture/drawing on the back of Sir Joseph and Master William is certainly ... different. I was hoping for a color photo since I think they're both
darkly delicious (just my woman's perspective!) I miss William's hair 
. Onto the songs:
My favs are:
2 - Twilight = Maybe because of the title, I see images of dark angels dancing about a sleeping child, darkly putting him to sleep.
3 - Once Upon a Nightmare = I've been listening to Holst' Planets album and perhaps that why I hear the booming "Mars" here and there in this
song. Love the xylophones, timpanis, violins, cello, and of course, the bells. Excellent dark tone.
4 - Shadow Forest = LOVE THE BELLS!!!!
8 - Wicked Heart = Love the violin and drums
11 - Deep in the Woods = This piece starts off peacefully beautiful ......... then .......... ZING!!!! A burst of .... what is that, violin? guitar? keyboard?
Upon the first listening, I literally jumped out of my skin!
15 - Rise to Destiny = There is regal urgency here. Definitely could be from a movie score.
16 - Labyrinth of Dreams = Beautiful xylophone. The sound is so amazingly crystal-clear and perfect as if being played right in front of me. Who plays that,
Joseph or William?? This is probably my FAVORITE song on the album.
17 - Castle of Nightmares = Another big movie-score sound. Big and bombastic!! Great background song to read "Tales of the Dark Tower" to, especially
"Vampire's Kiss"

Very nicely written, Lady Bela. I'd post my review of Grimm Tales from Amazon up here, but it's huge.
I'm fond of your favorites list too. My guess is that the band picture was likely meant to be like a storybook sketch or something. Only the guys know for certain though. This is their best work to date in my thinking. My favorite part of Shadow Forest was the harp passages. You're other picks were spot on too. I'm
loving the disc, and I'm sure others are too.

My eyeballs have finally recooperated from your lengthy (and incredible) review on Amazon. You do have a way with words, don't you! I think I counted 183,589 words for your Grimm Tales review (or something close to that)  Your fingers must be in splints after that. Or at least soaking in cool water....
I am SOOOO hooked on Labyrinth of Dreams ... I have it on "loopy-replay" constantly. ~bela

I'm glad you enjoyed my Grimm Tales Amazon review. I hope your eyeballs enjoyed the exercise. It was a pleasure to write it, as Nox Arcana's music
always inspires me to wax poetic. Whenever I do an Amazon review, no matter the product, I try to tell a listener just exactly what the can expect to hear.
Labyrinth of Dreams is terrific, but everything Nox Arcana does is terrific. I love the disc entirely. As to my fingers , they're fine. Thank you for

The album should be on itunes in about 6 to 8 weeks. We send it off to CD Baby, then they forward it to itunes, then I guess it sits around until someone there
codes it into their catalog. Hopefully it'll be done before Halloween.
As for the images and titles coming up on Bela's computer as generic titles, I'm pretty sure that after itunes catalogs the disc it will appear with all the proper info. Just takes forever. Thank you to everyone for your kind words about Grimm Tales. |

*Comforts No Show the best he can.* The wait to add a new Nox Arcana CD to a collection is always hard for any fan. ) I've gone through it for the last
three years, and I'm going through it again right now. I know your pain. The wait will be worth it, I promise you. As an owner of Grimm Tales myself, I

Got my Grimm Tales in Monday....and DAMN! I DID NOT expect this disc to be that dark and haunting!! I LOVE it!!! prolly my fave track has got to be
Labyrinth of Dreams...very haunting and reminds me of Edward Scissorhands...a movie i hold dear to my cold heart. Also...even though not a musical track in a
sense...The Hollow is incredible....gave me chills!

My own favorite is Ave Sinistra, but I love them all, in particular Night Wraiths, Castle of Nightmares, The Forgotten Path, Labyrinth of Dreams, Crone's
Caverns, Hall of the Witch Queen, Shadow Forest, The Hollow, and Conjuration. Joseph's narration on Conjuration was particularly spine-tingling. Glad you
love it too, Chad.. We all do.

Funny (odd?? spooky?? freakishly fabulous?????) that you speak about GT and Labyrinth. Definitely MY fav song on the disc. What's funny is that I was listening to the cd last night. Maybe we had some GT vibes going on  !!

Wonderful piece of work, one of my favorite NA albums. Favorite track is Labyrinth of Dreams, followed by Once Upon a Nightmare and Hall of the Witch Queen.
