i think Ghost Whisperer went over board with killing jim. am i just being to harsh, or did they just ruin a BEAUTFIUL relationship with shooting him.

he dosent look the same to other people. which sucks. i think that they still have a good relationship but it made the show stink a bit.

I STILL LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

but i wish he never died and i wish he didnt...

Is anyone besides me looking forward to this? Growing up a Freddy fan in the 80's and early 90's, I'm pretty excited. I'm looking forward to seeing how Jackie Earl Haley (Watchmen) handles such an iconic role as Freddy Krueger. For any that haven't had a look yet, the first trailer is right here. :

Vincent Price this weekend on tv

On TCM Saturday, the 10th, at 5 am CT, they're showing 1963's trilogy "Tales of Terror" with Vincent Price. My favorite role he does in these is of Fortunato. Peter Lorre is FANTASTIC is Montresor.

Then at 6:30 am CT they're showing "The Pit and the Pendulum".

I have just found this movie site that plays all sorts of horror,no modern though only old up to say 1990,but very good.Only thing is though you have to register and wait to be accepted,i tried twice before i was,but glad i tried again,it is an Aladdins cave of horror treats.

It's on at 10:00 pm (CST) and replayed at 2 am.

My favorite horror movie is John Carpenter's Halloween. I thought that it was an excellent film that didn't need buckets of blood or excessive nudity to make it work. I thought the acting was phenomenal and there were plenty of "jumpy" moments. An instant classic I will never forget.

Haunted Houses on tv

Saturday afternoon (4:00 pm CST), July 4th, on the Biography channel, a show titled "Haunted Houses" will be aired.

"The darker side of folk tales emerges at Myrtles Plantation, Raynham Hall, Joshua Ward House and Whaley House"

It's a 2 hour show.

After that, they're playing many episodes of "Haunted History".

On the Science Channel tonight (Thursday) there's a show called "Science of the Movies: Horror Movies".
They're going to show the special effects used to make these screamers!! It's on 9:00 CST and again at midnight CST.

I watched it today, in total darkness, and I must say that for an old movie, it is way better than most things being put out today.
Has anyone else seen this movie? Or does your knowledge of old horror movies end with "Nosferatu: Eine Symphonie des Grauens"?

Hey everyone,
I am finally admitting to something.... I am in love with Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera the musical. I HATE the movie that was made in 2004 or whenever it was made because they screwed it up big time... I hated the guy who played the phantom because his singing voice was freaking awful... Anywho... My favorite actors who played the phantom are Michael Crawford and Earl Carpenter.... they both have amazing voices and incredible acting. Anyone else want...

Fans of Dark Shadows, you will love this. I found out that Tim Burton (the awesomest director in the history of mankind) is making a movie based on Dark Shadows with Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins. The film will be released sometime either late this year or next year. I hope Tim Burton makes this film a masterpiece, I hate to be disappointed by a film directed by the great Tim Burton. I imagine that the wonderful composer Danny Elfman will be composing the score for the movie. I hope...
